Support

So my masters has begun. We've been given an introductory brief where we have to conduct some research with the rest of the other design courses, the brief is simply titled Support which can be interpreted in a lot of different ways really like structural, social and financial. But the first thing that comes to mind when i think of support is the role of supports in various video games like League of Legends, Dota and Overwatch. Their job is to protect the damage dealers, keep them safe and take the damage for them. They play important roles in those games but they are often overlooked, which is kind of similar to how we forget about common supports in our day to day lives like family and friends which we rely on a lot but take it for granted most days. There are many different ways to interpret support, an interesting brief to start with.
